Our Recreational Vehicle story begins many moons ago when Well Done Marketing founder Ken Honeywell worked for the Juhl Agency in Elkhart, Indiana—the RV capital of the world—in the mid-‘80s. Juhl worked with Coachmen, Starcraft boats, and a number of other outdoor lifestyle accounts. Fast-forward a decade or three, when we worked on television commercials for Tom Raper, for many years the biggest RV dealer in the Midwest. Pair that background with our director of account service’s home town being just down the road from Elkhart in Goshen, and you can begin to see why we enjoy working with clients in this industry. So, when Coachmen RV reached out to us in 2014 about their photography and collateral needs, we jumped at the opportunity.
Each year, we embark on a bold quest to develop their new literature in advance of the RV industry’s big dance: the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association’s annual tradeshow that takes place at the end of November in Louisville, Kentucky. Since 2014, we’ve developed concepts, directed photo shoots, stylized floorplans, written copy, and ultimately created a suite of flyers, brochures, and banners to market Coachmen RV’s Class A motorhomes to both dealers and consumers. It’s great to be able to help a brand that’s part of our heritage speak to a whole new generation of RVers.
